The SIZIAF administrates the Artois-Flandres Industrial Estate. It is a public body whose members are from 20 small town councils and is responsible for the administration and development of public land, and for setting up and guiding the companies on the Estate.

The members of the SIZIAF

The members are the small towns of :

• Annequin, Auchy-les-Mines, Billy-Berclau, Cambrin, Cuinchy, Douvrin, Festubert, Givenchy-les-la-Bassée, Haisnes, Noyelles les Vermelles, Richebourg, Vermelles, Violaines.

• LENS-LIEVIN (comprised of Benifontaine, Hulluch, Loos en Gohelle, Meurchin, Pont à Vendin, Vendin le Vieil, Wingles).

Team of technicians :

The team of technicians is comprised of 8 employees who work on the Estate, responsible for : 1. The administration of the Estate :

• Water treatment
• Production of drinking water
• Maintenance of green areas
• Road maintenance
• Public street lamps
• Estate watchdogs
• Leasing of around 10 buildings

2. Development :

• Sales : buying industrial units, assessments, sale of certified land.
• Commercial promotion of the Industrial Estate
• Expansion : roads, green areas, networks.

3. Building industrial units : Since 1985 the SIZIAF has built more than 25 industrial units.
